Swami Ramanada Saraswati is dedicated to serving humanity. He is currently trying to raise awareness of homelessness and child poverty. He has counseled the homeless of all religions and has been involved in feeding the homeless in Calgary.

Swamiji was initiated into Sanayas ashram on the bank of the holy river Ganges at the Divine Life Society of India.

Born into a traditional priestly family and instructed in ancient Hindu rites and rituals (karam kande) by both his father and grandfather, he has spent more than 30 years of his life in the west. Swamiji is critically aware of the modern challenges of living and working in western society.

The Divine Life Society of Canada was formed in Calgary in 1992 and was officially registered in 1994. The organization is affiliated with the worldwide Divine Life Society, whose headquarters are located in the Himalayas of India.
